Geological Survey Annual Report, 4to with spine taped, contents  clean and a very good copy complete with double paged colored bedrock map of the Pomperaug basin. Contains 155 pp., 17 plates and 59 figures. As a geologist who has spent 40+ years working up the stratigraphy, structure and paleontology of this basin, I can state that many of Hobb’s observations still hold true. With 143 pp. and 7 plts, some of which are folding maps that show the Survey of the Connecticut River between Holyoke Massachusetts and Hartford Connecticut, which is also a nice stretch of river for Jurassic age outcrops of the lower to middle Portland Formation.
